A Jamaican teenager is in critical condition after he was beaten, robbed and set on fire when he went to meet up with a man he got to know through a gay dating site. The victim’s attackers also severed a part of his penis, authorities said, according to T.
Ky’Andrea Cook,18, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for using a phone app to set up a robbery that went wrong.
Cook who was arrested back in April for the robbery and shooting of Immanuel Pursel,17,. He was apparently riding with Perry Nida,27, who was lured to a location thinking he was meeting a young lady for a drug transaction and when they got there Cook’s boyfriend tried to rob them and Pursel ended up getting shot.
Cook took a plea bargain which reduced her sentence to 20 years in prison and also dropped her conspiracy charge that carried a life sentence.
The victim is still recovering and is expected to be ok.

DeLand, FL-A DeLand man is charged after deputies say he robbed a man at gunpoint after the victim arrived to meet a woman he had met online. It was May 1st when the 26-year-old Apopka man drove to DeLand to meet the woman. When he arrived, she was waiting in the driveway of the home and they both went inside the house. Shortly after going inside a man came out and pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his wallet. The victim said his wallet was in the car and gave the man the key. The wallet turned out to be empty. The victim told the suspect that he could get cash and had $800 in his account. The victim told deputies that was a bluff and an attempt to buy some time to get a chance to get away.The victim, the gunman and the woman at the home got into the victim's car and went to two ATM's. They could not get cash because there were insufficient funds. When they stopped the car for gas on West New York Avenue, the victim bolted from the car and the man and woman drove off.20-year-old Denzel Williams is charged. He was arrested Saturday night just after 8 PM in DeLand. He is at VCBJ where he is being held on no bond. Williams is charged with robbery with a firearm and kidnapping in commission of a felony.
